MONDAY x WEDNESDAY @5-6pm
"H I R O H I T I"
Ages 5-11 years (or placed by skill/height)
Hirohiti is our advanced girls class. In this class we expand our technique, language of ʻori Tahiti & dive into cultural concepts through Polynesian folklore.
MONDAY x WEDNESDAY @6-7:30pm
"H Ō ʻ A T A"
Ages 12-14 years (or placed by skill/height)
Hōʻata is our advanced teen girls class. In this class we continue to build our foundation of ʻori Tahiti through various aspects of "culture".
MONDAY x WEDNESDAY @7:30-9:30pm
"H O T U"
Ages 15+ (or placed by skill/height)
The Hotu team is by placement only & is the most advanced class at Nonosina. Hotu team dancers are challenged, physically emotionally & spiritually with class material. Dancers from this class are chosen to compete, tour, perform and participate in cultural exchange. The Hotu team requires the most time & dedication as they are the seniority class.
MONDAY x WEDENSDAY @7:30-9:30pm
"T Ā N E" (men)
The Tāne team is by placement only. Tāne team dancers are challenged, physically emotionally & spiritually with class material. Dancers from this class are chosen to compete, tour, perform and participate in cultural exchange. The Tāne team requires the most time & dedication as they are the seniority class.

"T A M A T E A" (boys)
Ages 5+ (or placed by skill/height)
The Tamatea team dancers are our beginner/intermediate level class for boys. Tamatea warriors learn the fundamentals of Polynesian dance through movement, dance vocabulary & song. (no dance experience needed)

"T Ī R E O"
Ages 5-11 (or placed by skill/height)
Tīreo team dancers are our beginner level class for girls. Tīreo team dancers learn the fundamentals of Polynesian dance through movement, dance vocabulary & song. (no dance experience needed)
TUESDAY x THURSDAY @7-8pm
"M Ā I T U"
Ages 12+ (or placed by skill/height)
The Māitu team is our beginner level class for teen/women. The Māitu team dancers learn the fundamentals of Polynesian dance through movement, dance vocabulary & song. (no dance experience needed)
TUESDAY x THURSDAY @8-9pm
"M Ā R A ʻ I"
Ages 12+ (or placed by skill/height)
The Māraʻi is our intermediate level class for teen/women. Māraʻi team is designated for dancers after completion of the MĀITU Team (or fundamental training & are able to pick up Nonosina technique).
